Dapper ORM and Performance

May 14, 2012 at 12:52 AM

The Dapper ORM has some performance metrics posted at http://code.google.com/p/dapper-dot-net/. They provide a link to the test code:

Performance benchmarks are available here: http://code.google.com/p/dapper-dot-net/source/browse/Tests/PerformanceTests.cs , Feel free to submit patches that include other ORMs - when running benchmarks, be sure to compile in Release and not attach a debugger (ctrl F5)

It would be interesting to see how FluentData holds up.

The current focus is to implement the features that is important to make FluentData into an even more efficient and easy to use framework (the road map is available here). This phase will last until July or August. The next phase will be performance monitoring and improvements, and that will be started in August and should take about a month. When that phase is done I will post a comparison report against other ORMs.
